Jedi Survivor GPU usage and FPS plummet after a while
Running in Heroic with fsync, Wayland and HDR enabled. Only way to restore normal performance is to reboot PC. Once it occurs other games are affected too until reboot.
CPU: Intel Ultra 5 235
RAM: 6400MHz CL38 DDR5
GPU: Intel Arc B580

have you installed vulkan-intel (or lib32-vulkan-intel)?

its installed according to my package manager
im wondering if its psu related, is there something i can run to stress both cpu and gpu?
i had a similar isdue with an rtx A2000 years ago, the problem was the motherboard
i also had a similar issue with overwatch the other day actually, after trying to run the game while pc was doing a large file extract

well the issue here is that for whatever reason the GPU isnt getting used.. it looks like some vulkan init issue

i just ran a CPU+ GPU benchmark in a browser and the pc is barely working now
had to unplug from the wall bevause it wasnt even picking up power button. same as what happened with overwatch the other day
jedi survivor starts throtting after a part where the cpu hits 20% (usually 11-14% prior to that point)
now its throttled after i rendered a cup in blender
upon exiting game, i have a black screen

yeah i couldnt tell you what the issue is.. i did see some reports of poor linux support with this gpu, but they were from febuary and it may have changed

im gonna try adjusting power limits
intel reccomends a 600w psu, but other info i had suggested a 500W would be enough for all my components
my other pc with a ryzen 7 5700g and an rtx 4060 doesn't seem to have throttling issues
sadly both pcs have 500w psus so i can't see if a higher psu helps
still turning into a slideshow when i reach the elevator with the droid
