They are comfy, nice for hiking and look cool

I love my vibram sneakers - they are the easiest sneaker to get on, have good support and traction, and I love how they look. Excited to get some winter wear with them and hoping they get me out of mostly wearing boots when I need a little bit of traction in the winter
A little ugly in a good way for me
For actual exercise I mostly wear asics gel resolution x because they fit my feet well and give side support for tennis/pickleball/etc. I generally don't care how my exercise sneakers look
my new balance 1906d's are barely gonna last me 2 years but they're sooooo pretty
most worn sneakers recently have been NB 996s for work, they have some flaws (dont line up with thicker socks, stock insoles arent the softest) but they've been working quite well
Is there a low version of these? I like them
Some of my favourites that I wear regularly - 11bybbs x Salomon Bamba 5 and Asics Gel-Kayano Legacy
sort of related, something i've been meaning to ask but felt like it doesn't warrant a thread—when people bemoan dress sneakers, how broad is that definition? Like of these two the first is hideous but imo the second one is, like, fine. inoffensive. but sometimes i also see that style called a dress sneaker (personally I just go for a simple low top like a club c or puma suede instead)

the secondhand market is like a full time job to find real ones
and the retail is atrocious
also much more basic of a sneaker, but the balenciaga monday is sick
and the balenciaga speedcats are great, but I might just take an angle grinder to some regular speedcats
the angle grinder + regular ones combined are still half the price of the balenciaga ones

not as good as XT-4/6 but still pretty comfy
I love how chucks look but they are the least comfortable shoes I have ever worn

Puma plexus line has had good collabs and is comfy and cheap on sale so those are my main ones
The non removable sock liner is annoying if you wear no shows though
Not really, but they're really to be worn with long pants and the top is mostly not visible either way

Im adding all of these to my shopping cart
I use old reliables, classic converse for my leg days. Then I use slip on sketchers for cardio work.
Which kind of sketchers? I used the go walk arch fit 2.0 for a while and they’re good but they were a little big, still pull them out for shorter periods of walking a lot
Still love the insoles but putting them into a different sneaker gave me hip problems
I have the Needles Instapumps
For everyday wear I prefer the NB 990 v6, and for gym I use the Hoka Arahi
you should probably speak to a podiatrist and likely get custom orthotics
Yeah maybe, I mean you gotta keep in mind I was wearing them walking for like 7 hours straight so it was exacerbated by that
they should not be giving you hip issues regardless, but do as you will
i have them but never got really into the partially open design
Oh nah it doesn’t when I use the right insoles, what i meant was I put the sketchers insoles in the new balance and the sketchers ones were wider so it didn’t align with the shoe right. So felt nice and cushy but was giving improper support

I’ve really liked the novesta star master/dribbles and flower mountain yamanos that I’ve tried on. All sadly too wide for me.
