Fixing collar bubbles
Hi,
I machine washed for the first time this cdg shirt I got off Vinted, 20min cycle at 30 degrees yet that was enough to mess it up
Tag said machine washable so thought that’d be fine
I’m getting bubbles on the collar which I can’t get rid of by steaming so I’m guessing they added some dumb thin fusible interfacing inside…
Did I ruin it or is there a way to fix it 😭

Can you pull it taut so that they disappear? Maybe ironing carefully would take care of it but I'm no expert

30c also really hot to wash this stuff at, but it would've happened eventually at any temp without dry clean unfort

The collar is very supple I didn’t see it had a fusible layer I would’ve hand washed otherwise

I wish brands would glue to the interfacing to the underside of the collar instead of the top side that way if it bubbles it’s underneath
On this one the like underside of the collar is still all neat and smooth
Pisses me off I hand wash sm stuff and was an idiot about the new big shirt that fit me perfectly that I paid a good lil bit for :nooooo:
Any ideas to still do something with it it? I mean I can cut the collar and make it into a mao shirt :xd:
Its pretty much unwearable as is 😔 (more visible on the other side it looks p bad worn I’m not exaggerating )

The shirt is cool it’s super wide
For what it's worth, I don't think I would notice this at all if I saw you wearing this
But I understand the feeling
Im probably overreacting im pissed and also a bit sleep deprived
I’ll try to iron it to move the bubbles to the seams I’ll update tomorrow :p

i think it still loose cool even bubbled
its something that happens over time to a lot of these comme pieces anyways
its still a cool collar and a cool shirt and not that noticeable
I managed to mostly fix it :letsfuckinggo: (at least until next wash I guess)
