Heroic collects data during download. I'm not in front of my gaming system, since I'm at work, (so I cant direct where to look for it) but it may be worthwhile to find and post that log.

Is your internet decent? Uninstalling the game (leave prefix!), then reinstalling will force clean pull from galaxy's backend.

Manually purge the folder on /home/deck/games/heroic after uninstall.

Uninstalling removes the folder already. Reinstalling now
It spends a very long time after first launch on "Installing Redistributables (GOG)"

I'm trying 'Force update if available'
and it repeats the same stuck on Installing Redistributables (GOG)
I selected to remove prefix at uninstall

a log would be nice to see
make sure you are on latest version of Heroic - so like, 2.18.1 and you use GE-Proton
