Brand new to Linux/Bazzite. Terminal wont accept my password, is there a guide to fixing this?

Just looking for an answer to install apps that dont have a flatpak.

Even if it does work, it would not be the supported way to set a VPN up

OPENvpn was suggested.

The second problem though is that you definitely need to remember your password that you set

Right, its the correct one, or at least its the one that gets me into the OS and setup during install.

it's likely not the correct one otherwise it would still work there and would error out later

Yea, its just my understanding that installing certain things dont work like .exe and there doesnt seem to be an alternative outside of the terminal. My plan is to only boot into windows when I need software that isnt Linux supported like Adobe and access to drives that arent compatable. But if I cant get 1/1 software to work thats going to be a problem. Is it a secure boot issue maybe? I have it turned off because there are .dll's blocking me from turning it on for windows, which is also a PITA
