Brand new to Linux/Bazzite. Terminal wont accept my password, is there a guide to fixing this?
Just looking for an answer to install apps that dont have a flatpak.

wdym won't accept your password
what are you trying to do and what does it say?

Whenever I enter what I assume to be my password it rejects it...tried default bazzite for the password.
Ty for any help in advance
it tells you your password is incorrect?

also what did you do that prompted you to enter your password?
Any get command for apps I want to install. Got discord running after finding a flatpak for it but initially went the terminal route
I'm asking about the specific commands
there seems to be two issues here

okay, well this I don't think will work on bazzite at all
vpns can be configured through wireguard
Which is somthing I thought might be the case
Even if it does work, it would not be the supported way to set a VPN up
OPENvpn was suggested.
The second problem though is that you definitely need to remember your password that you set
Right, its the correct one, or at least its the one that gets me into the OS and setup during install.
it's likely not the correct one
otherwise it would still work there and would error out later
Im not typing it incorrectly.
Caps lock isnt on
Thats is why its frustrating...
numlock?
Nope, Ive typed it using the normal numbers and numpad to no effect
A friend with a bit more experience suggested making an admin account in CLI?
well the thing ur trying to do rn isn't something u should be trying anyway unless it's a last resort
but solving the password issue is a problem u definitely gotta fix
Yea, its just my understanding that installing certain things dont work like .exe and there doesnt seem to be an alternative outside of the terminal.
My plan is to only boot into windows when I need software that isnt Linux supported like Adobe and access to drives that arent compatable.
But if I cant get 1/1 software to work thats going to be a problem.
Is it a secure boot issue maybe? I have it turned off because there are .dll's blocking me from turning it on for windows, which is also a PITA
