VAN restriction? IOMMU
Hello,
I've been playing Valorant for a while now, and everything has been working fine but all of a sudden today, I've been getting VAN restriction error which just kicks me out of the game, nothing about my configuration has been changed, and all of a sudden today I've been getting nonstop van restriction IOMMU Enabled, I don't have such an option in bios and valorant has been running fine but all of a sudden i've been getting van restriction errors as of today? I don't get why Vanguard has been having so many issues lately.

Hmm enter bios and show pic
it'll take some time. Do you know why all of a sudden vanguard requires it? It never happened before
:val_PepeShrug:
It doesn't seem to be a global requirement for others, and it seems like I was flagged. I would rather have my account cleared of this, it happened right after my game crashed and froze, and now I can't play for more than a minute without Van restriction popping up

Yeah I am in the process, hopefully I won't get some generic answer
And if it's a flagged thing, hopefully I can clear it
I've already upgraded to windows 11 enabled secureboot TPM, DEP, CFG can't keep taking performance hits
Has your account ever logged into another PC? Have you ever upgraded your PC? Are you running Windows 11? Has anyone ever logged into your game client with a different account?
No my account has never logged into another PC, and yes after valorant forced us to update past windows 10 1803, I went with windows 11 had to enable TPM and secure boot. Literally have had no issues at all yesterday, until in the middle of the game my game suddenly crashed and the audio was looping. After that I started to have VAN restriction asking me to turn on IOMMU constantly
There were more questions there.
No I didn't upgrade my PC, and yes I've logged into other alts
Have any of those alts been logged into other PCs? Are the credentials for any of those alts or your main shared with anyone? (Be honest)
No, just myself
Im thinking it's my HWID thats flagged as all 3 accounts have the same issue, it started with one then the others got hit
Yah. You may want to open a ticket with Riot. They could explain what's going on. If it's a restriction, they'll at least explain as much. But if it's a requirement on your account they'll help you enable the required settings on your PC.
I've enabled VT-D on my motherboard and after entering into Valorant, I get the error code IOMMU initialized instead of it asking me to enable IOMMU, then it asks me to restart. Once I restart I get a BSOD saying driver_verifier_dma_violation and then my Nvidia drivers got corrupted. I reinstalled my Nvidia Drivers, and was able to boot with IOMMU on again, however the moment I enter Valorant, the same error occurs and after a restart I BSOD again. However if I uninstall my Nvidia drivers, I am able to restart my computer after Valorant asks and I don't have BSOD anymore. I believe the Nvidia drivers are the cause of the issue, do you guys have any word on that? Is it also possible that the Nvidia drivers are what caused my account to be flagged? I don't share my accounts with anyone, and have two other alt accounts and after one account had this issue, I was told it was account based so I played on my other account and then they are now all flagged. This requirement was never an issue before, and I don't understand why they are flagged now to no fault of my own?
This issue is still going on? i been trying to fix it for almost a year now
Have you been able to play Valorant since then?
I can play for like 4 rounds then i get kicked out and cant join back into the game unless i restart my computer only for the same issue to occur
This bug is the reason i quit valorant but i've been trying to get back into it only for the same issue to happen again :/
do you have an Nvidia GPU? 4000 or 5000?
GTX 1650
My friends have a Nvidia Driver as well and nothing seems to be wrong with their game
Whats the error code
?
Whats the code?

Restart ur pc and eter bios @booba
Already enabled VT-D. I've explained it here
Did u save changes afterwards?
Yes
Go to Windows Security > Device Security > Core Isolation and make sure Memory Integrity is on.
Do this
it varies from different codes
Like?
Thats for VBS, and I'm blue screening after Vanguard requests for Vanguard to reintialize
theres another ticket with the same issue I have
what motherboard r u using
It might not be supported
the only way to circumvent it is to uninstall the nvidia drivers and I can boot with IOMMU after Vanguard requests it
Disable IOMMU
van -79, van-106 and i forgot the rest
And only re enablenSVM
then I can't cant play Valorant, SVM is AMD's variant
I have intel
VT-D
Make a threat about it
Thread
Disable it and re enablenit
But still try
I've already done that multiple times, it's Vanguard conflicting with the Nvidia Drivers
@booba to disable it
that’s odd
I did that a few months ago and they never responded to me 😭
Ill help u
Make a thread dont drown this thread
