Game is Completely black except effects
As the title says the game is completely black except for effect like torch flames
i am on mc 1.20.1 this is the same on single and multiplayer turning off rendering fixes this
i have qutie a few mods including alex's caves i disabled the biome ambient lighting.
i have ice and fire
malum
hex casting
create 6
occultism
better combat
iron's spells
ars nouve
sodium
lithium
vampirism
waystone

your best bet would be a !binary search unfortunately
Try a binary search and figure out which mod is causing it.
So disable half of the mods, see if issue is still there, if yes disable half again etc etc until you find the mod that's causing the issue.
Also
biome ambient light and biome ambient light colouring are 2 separate options, make sure you disabled the second one and not the first
