is the resultant circuit smthing like this
No description

the q mentions that you've to neglect ring resistance and the net resistance in the final circuit is R so i dont think uve to do this it's just equating torques is emf =R mgsinwt/aB + 1/2Bwa^2

shit. pura padh lena chahiye tha

i wonder how we'd solve it with the resistors it would become complex right
CorrodedCoffin
CorrodedCoffinOP5d ago
yeah what was your current i am getting same yours but second term is negative
nori
nori5d ago
mgsinwt/aB = i

current = E + Eind/R basically how do u decide the dirn of induced emf
nori
nori5d ago
uve to use the rht rule v X B karo
CorrodedCoffin
CorrodedCoffinOP5d ago
whi kia force comes along the rod but in upwards dirn right ?? so +ve charges will be induced on the upper end
nori
nori5d ago
yeah so circumference ke side pe higher potential hoga
CorrodedCoffin
CorrodedCoffinOP5d ago
han so iska first figure bana na

i took it ulta.. with the positives on the same side.. to subtract karna padega current ke liye the q shouldve provided the polarity of the original battery kinda vague ig
CorrodedCoffin
CorrodedCoffinOP5d ago
thats exactly what my doubt is . like +ve same side kyu lie
nori
nori5d ago
hmm. yeah not very sure rn

CorrodedCoffinOP5d ago
koi na see the 2nd one for now i saw the same ques in pg but with mentioned polarities
nori
nori5d ago
yeah then it's just that q is ambiguous btw ig I understand. E source has to be opp and greater... torque ke directions dekho it wont be able to balance otherwise @hardcoreisdead
CorrodedCoffin
CorrodedCoffinOP5d ago
how are they related
nori
nori5d ago
yeah so ig you're ans with a minus sign should be right. i was doing some mistake in torque directions. eind source se kam hoga to if they're in series arrangement like u did, it should give a torque out of the plane... which balances the torque of gravity (into the plane) but does the soln say +/-? i dunno.. now i feel - seems more appropriate

+ @integralofe^2v . can u tell why we do E-Eind
integralofe^2v
Abhi itna emi nhi pada but i will see this tom, i will complete emi today thats why😭

CorrodedCoffinOP3d ago
oh alr np @integralofe^2v hua??
integralofe^2v
if i be honest rn dawg i got distracted last night by yt but hopefully aj krunga emi 😭🙏

CorrodedCoffinOP3d ago
lol alr it doesnt require more than motional emf btw
