Wrong Favicon Showing in Google Search and Search Console via cloudflare pages.
Domain purchased from Porkbun
Using Cloudflare nameservers
Site hosted on Cloudflare Pages
Website is already indexed on Google
Favicons present in my project:
favicon.ico and favicon.svg in the root directory
Additional favicon PNG files (48x48, 128x128, apple-touch-icon, etc.) inside /assets/icons/
Problem:
In Google search results, my website still shows the Porkbun favicon instead of my own.
In the Google Search Console property dropdown, the same Porkbun icon is shown next to my domain.
The favicon displays correctly in the browser tab (Chrome) when visiting the live site.
I removed the property from Search Console and added it again — still the same issue.
I checked via tools (even simulated crawling with ChatGPT) and it still detects the Porkbun favicon.
In Search Console crawl report, the new favicon was crawled on August 18, yet still no change in Google results or Search Console.

Everything is working fine on the page, but cloudflare pages is not giving correct favicon to crawlers.
How do I solve it ?

afaik if its showing in your browser the correct one then the crawlers should see the correct one eventually
porkbun isnt serving any of the traffic so this feels like maybe a cache
