phase 6?
I have no idea what to make of this...
I've been noticing that the HUB had some locked tiers past t9 requiring me to clear "Phase 6", I knew in advance from previous playthroughs that Phase 5 is the last one. I kinda just guessed that maybe launching counted as Phase 6 but now I've launched Project Assembly and those tiers are still locked.
Then I noticed that it wasn't just the three tiers I had visible to me (10-12) but in fact more tiers that were overflowing. So I downloaded Tier Overflow Lib and... it goes all the way up to Tier 21??? And they're all locked behind Phase 6. I have no visible objective, though when I buy something from the AWESOME Shop, an objective to submit 50 Smart Plating shows up but I can't complete it because I've already launched Project Assembly. Even using Advanced Game Settings to unlock all tiers doesn't open them up, so I guess it's a bug associated with some mod or other.
I've got a huge stack of mods and I don't really want to try disabling things until I find the source of this, so I'm wondering if anyone knows off the top of their head what mods might be doing that. If it's just erroneous and there's no more milestones to unlock or whatever I'm fine with calling this playthrough done, but I would like to be thorough at least.
Big content mods in my list include FexPan, Lithium, Refined Power, Industrial Evolution, EasyAlt, Quantum Replication, Resource Roulette
I also have probably 50 other mods that add one or two milestones here and there but none of the above advertise progression past Tier 9 so I have no idea where this is coming from.

this extra tiers bug sounds familiar but I can't place it
I think it was unused stuff left in a few of Andre's mods but he cleaned most of it up
with a mod list this huge I wouldn't be surprised for it to be some niche incompatibility-- I ran into a few of those with my playthrough, like Resource Roulette causing Lithium nodes to be invisible and extractors on them to mine at infinite speed (reported that bug on the RR github already, but it's a decent example of weird stuff)
if you filter by installed in SMM then search for Andre, it might be one of those - probably one which is less common

Andre's concept of QoL lines up pretty strongly with my own so I tend to gravitate towards them, I've found-- I tried just mass-disabling them all and loading it up to see what happens anyway.
Extra tiers are all still there
I wonder if that's leftover save stuff happening, lemme see if they pop up on a new game
nah shouldn't be possible for a save to do that
It doesn't take long to check anyway, but yeah they're still there

set up a new SMM profile with only Early Map Redux installed, and

anyway, I can guess that Early Map Redux is not a mod that adds 12 tiers of milestones to the game so that clears up whether I actually had any more content to unlock. So I'm gonna go to bed and leave the rest to y'all.
Oh, I'm remembering now that when I was starting out, the map didn't seem to actually be unlocked when I started the game (but the fog of war was still disabled as intended). The control hint for it was visible but pressing my map key didn't do anything, and after I completed a milestone, the control hint for it went away as well-- and didn't reappear until I actually did unlock the map milestone. So perhaps something flew under the radar in 1.1 that messed up the early unlock portion of the mod.

well I'd certainly be happy to see the bug fixed for other folks' sake, but being that I just beat the game I probably won't be revisiting Satisfactory myself for a few months lol. As I said initially, this was more a curiosity than a "I need a fix" for me.
Either way, here's hoping it's a simple fix
The mod only uses BP Hooking, it shouldn't be doing anything like add tiers or the lik,e
