It seem everything but reformatting it to ext so it only works with Linux does this so it have the drive only work with Linux or don’t use it on bazzite Linux?

I am use a 81gb file to test it (once I found it massing up on Linux I format it over on bazzite hoping that fix it when it didn't I start to test fix I'd used in the past and trying to move the file over)

to the original question, mount options usually need to be set correctly to ensure that a drive is mounted with write permissions

you'll need to read up on fstab stuff to figure it out. when the documentation says "unsupported" for NTFS or FAT drives, this means support won't be provided. too much can go wrong.

The drive was working fine then I had to reinstall bazzite and now when I try to use it in bazzite I get it can't write to it but Linux mint fine with it?

if it's writable in one distro, it's writable in another. again, it comes down to the mount options you have set in /etc/fstab

It started when I try to rename the drive come to thank of it and all I'm doing is move file no gaming 🙁 All I did was open disks on bazzite and change the drive name on a new install of bazzite and now it can't be read or written too the heck when on the old bazzite it was fine

because your mount options were correct before they are not now therefore, you need to fix your mount options in /etc/fstab or in Disks
