Problem with a portable hard drive.
Still a neophyte at Linux, so please ELI5 me. I've got a very old portable hard drive, an old 500gb Passport formatted in NTFS. It's got literal decades of saved files on it I reference often. It mounts just fine, shows all the files and folders at the top level, but opening any of those folders and subfolders shows that they're empty. Plugging it in to my wife's windows computer shows all the files are still there, but Bazzite says they're not. How do I get (gnome) Bazzite to see and access those files?
-I've made sure my linux computer has full read/write/create/delete permissions to the mounted drive.
-Tried mounting it in different usb ports, that makes no difference so it's not a bad port.
