Ping Stutters

For the longest while ive been dealing with this issue and its driving me crazy, so randomly my ping spikes high then goes back down constantly throughout your game? It throws off everything legit for the split second or two and it happens continuously throughout the game. How did you fix it?
Im using an ethernet cable aswell
