ping stutters
so, the issue I've been experiencing ever since I started playing valorant is random ping stutters. usually my ping is around 27ms to 29 ms in Mumbai server (india). but my latency randomly skyrockets to 260ms-410ms and this doesn't happen in equal intervals so far from what I've noticed. another thing i noticed is that this only happens in my current laptop device.
my ISP: Google LLC (according to: what is my ISP)
my wifi: ACT fibernet
servers affected: any
personal analysis: this looks more like an issue with the device like a faulty NIC.
any help regarding the issue is appreciated, thanks in advance!

Heyo
;tracert
Traceroute
1. Open CMD
2. Type and run the following command, replacing
[IP] with one of the server IPs from the list below:
tracert [IP]
3. Take a screenshot of your Command Prompt showing the results and share it here.mind doing that?
sure
gimme a moment

wanna try out
ping 192.168.0.1 -n 120 and show me a ss of the summary at the end?sure

@lyra can I instead demonstrate the issue in valorant by taking a vid when it happens?
the clip is kinda shaky
but this usually happens for a longer span of time
does it happend often or?
yes it happens often
there are some moments like right after updating the game, the stutters stop for a while
and when i close and open the game the stutters are back
:Deadlock_Ability:
can you do this again but change 120 to 1000?
sure

@lyra
heres the summary
get ethernet should stabilize it
oh yes, that did stabilize my ping but the problem is ethernet is kinda out of my reach. is there any other way to fix this tho? if not, thats fine and thanks again for taking your time to help me!!
Not really, Wi-Fi will always add jitters. A mesh system might help, but honestly at this point I’d just buy a long Ethernet cable if possible. Even moving your setup closer to the router can help reduce jitter.
alright thanks for the advice, i guess ill buy myself an ethernet cable then. thank you for taking your time to help me out again!
