Latest Flatpak version of Heroic. Tried the reinstall command in the pinned post, same outcome.
Tried reinstalling the game, verifying files.

That sounds like a prefix set to Windows 7 like issue

I already did that when uninstalling the game (I selected the option) but ok

PROTON_LOG=1 pass this in env variables section
And try to run again
This should create a log called heroic0 etc in home partition

Nope
Installed to the default directory in the home folder, which is on XFS
I'm not seeing that but the log shown when right-clicking on the game looks different
Ironically looks like less information though

It might be in .var/app bla bla if you are on flatpak

The game has worked before, but I always end up with problems soon and it's a different issue every time

Just pass this one to test, your issue is somewhat related to either disk permissions/mounting or this

I frequently had issues with Bottles that were solved by enabled filesystem=home in Flatseal
Maybe that could help

Well, sad to say even if we solve that disk problem your driver is simply so out of date dxvk and its friends wont work

The packaged Mesa version is 25.1.7 on the latest SDK

Not sure if it does when host has older driver, surely doesnt on Nvidia but that is binary blob. Maybe runtime handles that for mesa differently

Just to eliminate flatpak weirdness
Download appimage
Try to run with it once, if it complains about graphics etc thus time then you know problem is flatpak
Heroic has import option
So you dont have download game again

First one is as-is copied from the logs menu, second one is the log in ~/ when using PROTON_LOG=1
