People haven't been banned for it, but even Wooting says use it at ur own risk in the settings. Definitely consider whether it actually helps you before enabling it.

I dont know, Iv been using SOCD on apex pro by steelseries since it started and in CS2 it never kicks me and had no issue/warning in valo with it but the wooting SOCD kicks me from CS2
Review the Riot terms of service. These are what you agreed to when you started playing the game.
Riot has a lot of leeway to close your account for using and doing a lot of things. If you're unsure, you need to ask Riot directly for clarification instead of random people on the Internet.

Even if you ask them, they may still be vague to give themselves space to ban for SOCD in the future. This is the best you'll get. Just be okay if your account gets closed or worse and you'll be good to go.
