Vc4 layer seperation and heavy stringing

I installed a new hotend in my vc4 due to the old one being surrounded by a blob of plastic. Despite the two rolls of filament printing fine in other printers I’m getting stringing and delamination. Might the new hotend be faulty and measuring wrong temps?

What hotend? Have you tried any calibration prints like a temp tower?

I did when I had the original rapido 2 plus uhf in. Just ran another for the replacement (same type)

This shows stringing below 225 but not above Under extrusion isn’t there. I normally run this filament at 210

thermocouples can be different distances from the actual nozzle. Glad you ran some calibration prints, now do what they suggest?

Just checking my orca slicer is 2.3 and I get warnings about this version. Is this a warning as it’s untested or an actual issue?

untested (lots are using it just fine)

Ok cheers, my main concern here is if I have to start printing at a delta of +20c because of a thermistor

Which is an easy fix. Do a temp tower and take the results into account
