Resolution/aspect ratio issues when running non-game apps in Game mode on Legion go

When running desktop apps in game mode, the screen resolution and aspect ratio is for some reason not set to the native 2600x1600, even when the resolution is set in the game properties. The apps seem to have random aspect ratios and resolutions for some reason. I've tried changing the resolution in properties, maximizing the apps in desktop mode, setting the programs to use their own resolution and system resolution in desktop mode, none of these have made any changes. Nested desktop has a similar issue where it does launch in what looks to be 16:10, but everything is blurry and changing the resolution in nested desktop itself or in properties sees no actual change. Games function perfectly though, this is exclusive to desktop apps like Spotify, web browsers, moonlight, terminal, etc.
