bazaar crashes on launch along with other applications

I installed bazzite a few days ago on my htpc. I love it but I would like to install some retro emulators and moonlight client for some more demanding games. I have been having some issues with the app Bazaar where it loads and immediately crashes on launch. Firefox shows similar behavior (video attached) I would prefer not to nuke the OS but from what I am reading that is the fix unfortunately
