Subject: Request for Feature to Prevent Accidental Edge Touches During Gameplay
#feedback #bugs
Dear PUBG Mobile Development Team,
I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to request a feature enhancement that would greatly improve the overall gameplay experience for many PUBG Mobile players.
During intense matches, especially when aiming with the right hand by swiping the right side of the screen, players often face an issue caused by accidental palm or finger touches on the left edge of the screen. When this happens, the screen movement locks until it is re-touched, disrupting aiming and movement. From my experience, this occurs 5–6 times in just 10 attempts, which can be highly frustrating, particularly in rush situations where quick and accurate responses are crucial.
This problem arises mainly because the palm naturally touches the edge of the screen while swiping. I have noticed that Call of Duty Mobile already provides an option to ignore unintended edge touches, which effectively prevents this issue. Unfortunately, PUBG Mobile currently does not offer a similar feature. Considering the scale of the player base, I believe this is a common issue, and there are even thousands of videos on YouTube highlighting the same problem.
Therefore, I kindly request that you consider implementing an “Ignore Accidental Edge Touches” option, where unintended single touches near the screen’s edge can be filtered or ignored after detecting multiple touches. This would significantly reduce gameplay interruptions and enhance the overall player experience.
Thank you very much for your time and continued dedication to improving PUBG Mobile. I am confident this feature would be highly appreciated by players worldwide.
