its been minutes and nothings showing up it has to do something with the data pack

!slowgen
World generation in general is quite slow and world gen mods can slow it down even more. If you want to speed it up:
Install Noisium, Lithium and C2ME. These mods can improve generation speed by a bit, but it will still not be fast.
Increase
To see if
CPU Load in Distant Horizons settings for faster generation, but you will experience more lag spikes and stuttering due to heavier workload on CPU. You are not required to wait for the full generation to finish, although it is better for fps if you do.
To see if
Distant Generator is really working or not:
1) Check CPU usage while in-game, using Aggressive settings of CPU Load. If CPU usage's hovering around 80-100%, the LoDs are generating in the background.
2) Go to DH settings > Advanced Options > Debug > Wireframe, set Enable Debug Wireframe Rendering and Show World Gen Queue to True.
Enabling both settings will show you the visualization of world gen tasks queued and working on the map (blue boxes for queued tasks, red boxes for working tasks)Try the second part
JJ is very very slow to run
My machine with a Core Ultra 9 275HX takes about fifteen minutes to half an hour depends on the mods I have to generate 256 chunks. That's a CPU that's over twice as fast as yours
Though both of those figures are with far more world gen mods than you're using
That's also with the "I paid for the whole CPU" setting for generation
If you didn't touch that, change it to that and let it go
Also seeing as you're on a laptop, those are power limited so disable shaders and limit your framerate to 10FPS to give your CPU more power
Also the most important thing - be patient
You only gave it a few minutes
It's not gonna render hundreds of thousands of chunks in a few minutes
MY MACHINE is gonna take 45 minutes, yours will likely take two hours or more

Also my GOD JJThunder is S L O W
Ouch okay never mind
Yeah it's like 4x slower
If not more, I'm usually at around 70 chunks per second
4096 chunks took 250+ hours on a 9950x3d lol
Yeahhhh

I think maybe finding another mod will be better
Big globe is pretty nice and on a huge scale
I use Tectonic and Terralith personally
Teconic + terralith
Big globe is pretty fast as well
Also William Wythers' Overhauled Overworld
Might be better if that sort of generation is what they want
I think still life + lithosphere has become popular, though I haven't tried that yet
Fair
I may try that
For reference here's without jjthunder
