Late autumn through to early spring coats with hoods?
For the last 6 or more years I've been running around with an A.P.C. coat very similar to this picture here... about mid thigh length, with a hood, chest pocket and double side pockets.
It's suffered the ravages of time and it's now time to think about getting something newer. But when I look on various sites, I see a lot of parkas (or at least coats that don't go below the waist), or trenches without hoods and wool coats without hoods.
I'm looking for something very similar to what I have already. Hooded, mid thigh length or longer, not much padding as I already have 2 coats that I can use for the much colder days. The closest thing i've seen is this Wales Bonner x Adidas coach jacket, but i'm not sure I can go for a white coat, knowing how messy I can be.
Ideally I'd be looking at less than £800... but really what terms should I be searching for, as if i scroll through somewhere like Mr Porter, it does seem to be a majority of wither waist level coats, or long wool coats without hoods.
