I installed bazzite for the first time on my laptop. Its my first time using Linux. I am trying to use Wallpaper Engine, but it will just show me this.
Not really a solution but there were some earlier discussions in #bazzite on wallpaper engine and it seems to just be having problems right now so it might be best to avoid using it for the time being.
The environment tweaks mention it's mostly meant for windows so...the current release of it may just be a bit of a mess.
Though if you want animated wallpapers, KDE itself supports most animated image formats out the gate like webp and gif on its own. Haven't tried it with a video file yet.
Yeah, i've been looking through the discussions in the past, but I thought maybe a solution was found in the meantime. Anyways, I will try using other solutions ^-^
There's a wallpaper engine kde plugin I use, like you just install wallpaper engine and it'll download your subscribed wallpapers off the workshop even if you don't open it and then you point the plugin at your steam library folder and it'll list them all off
I had so many troubles with that. It required a Python library to work, so I installed it. After changing the wallpaper just a couple of times, my entire desktop environment broke.
Yeah ty, i've already followed it, just saying for avoid another people trouble and risk advicing, btw i tried hidamari but not the same as wallpaper engine
