Where can I find the save files for native Linux games launched through Heroic on Linux Mint 22?
Hello! I just recently purchased Hollow Knight: Silksong through GOG, and I'd like to locate the save file, since I'm using the native Linux version. However, it doesn't seem to be anywhere that I've been able to find so far.
Any help appreciated.

See that makes sense but it's not there
no Team Cherry folder

Then check .local and .share dirs

Thanks. It's not in .local; there's a folder in .local called "share," but it doesn't have anything with Silksong stuff in it.
To help you, we need a game log. Please see the following images on how to get it.

Should be in
~/.config/unity3d.sensitive-blueOP•3mo ago
what would come before the ~?

~ is shorthand for your home directory.sensitive-blueOP•3mo ago
thanks
it's not there
So, my Heroic is in a flatpak.
That might have something to do with it.
~/.var/app/com.heroicgameslauncher.hgl/config/... it is thensensitive-blueOP•3mo ago
Thank you!
That is where it was!
... now I'm not sure which files are the save files...

I'm literally just guessing, but I think you'll want to copy all of thes files in the directory
~/.var/app/com.heroicgameslauncher.hgl/config/unity3d/Team\ Cherry/Hollow\ Knight\ Silksong/default/Restore_Points1/
I'm gonna try copying those files from my deck, over to my macbook, and see what happenssensitive-blueOP•3mo ago
Yeah, I just copied the folder. Turns out that the Windows version of the game can read the native Linux version's save file! That's pretty cool.

It didn't work for me, sadly. I did
scp steam-deck:~/.var/app/com.heroicgameslauncher.hgl/config/unity3d/Team\ Cherry/Hollow\ Knight\ Silksong/default/Restore_Points1/ ~/Library/Application\ Support/unity.Team-Cherry.Silksong/default/Restore_Points1, and heroic on my mac just behaved like the save file hadn't changed at all.sensitive-blueOP•3mo ago
Ah, sorry to hear that. Hm. I've never owned a Mac so I'm not sure what the issue would be.
