Is it possible to force LODs to render correctly when paired with Weather2/Weather, Storms, and Torn

Clouds, tornadoes, etc. from Weather2 will always render in front of LODs even when it makes no sense for them to do so. I doubt it's possible to fix this, but in case there is a wacky setting of dev build that could fix this please let me know. I've attached an image where the border between real blocks and LODs are obvious because of cloud rendering.
