LG HDR Monitor Half Screen

I'm having a weird issue where half my screen is just snow (like the old TVs, though not moving) upon every boot. During happenstance to figure out what to do i switched to a different TTY and then back, and suddenly it works fine again. It only started doing it recently, and i'm not sure how to go about troubleshooting this kind of issue.
