Fifa 14 not running - terminates immediately

PROTON_LOG=1 add this to env vars and get a log with that in place As currently log doesnt tell much Should create a heroic0 or something called log in your home partition

Go to game page in Heroic, settings, click to Winetricks https://github.com/Winetricks/winetricks/blob/master/files/verbs/dlls.txt#L85 Try installing either this one or 46 one But try 48 first

and it says "installed components: nothing was installed by winetricks yet" but we just installed the dotnet48 and i have installed other "required" things as well directx9 and all that.. so what is happening

Hmm, did you nuke your prefix at some point? As that would cause winetricks stuff to go poof

Open winecfg from heroic You could tell by libraries section of it If it has bunch of extra dll overrides there then it worked

Then they did add Maybe you miss some vcrun stuff too ( tho mscoree usually comes from lacking dotnet)

idk lol i have downloaded pretty much everything that a decade old game needs through winetricks.. and if the log itself does not produce a helpful message then is it the end?

so i deleted that previous prefix, created new one and re-installed the game, and i get this error from the game log

i changed the wine version from ge proton 15 (latest) to ge proton 8-24, and i get different issue this time

could this be caused by some permission issue maybe? the games are installed in ~/storage/b.. it is kinda like a different drive like in windows
