There is an outstanding issue re the appstore and this behaviour. All things being equal it should just install over the beta.

Is there an issue number for this?

Yes but that is closed and merged... npm reports version as in first screenshot Seems to me that 2.17.0 is actually installed appstore has a different opinion... second screenshot. npm lists all versions as in third screenshot --> looks correct --> confirms that the package is tagged correctly?

The merged code should be in the next server release.

OK, since the beta is displaying my thinking was that it was merged into the current release 🙂

So from a FSK perspective 2.17.0 is the current release and will be installed if npm i @signalk/freeboard-sk command is run. The code to fix what is displayed in the server appstore has been merged into the main branch and will be part of the next release. Until then the appstore issue remains. You can manually update with the above command

Yes, and that manual npm is what I have done, but appstore is not catching that update, and the update from appstore might do the right thing but the version displayed is still the beta and it is among the things that have an update available. I think Teppo published a change to the server fixing the appstore not displaying the beta, at least this post made me think that, and after that the beta was and still is displayed in appstore.... https://discord.com/channels/1170433917761892493/1411712304659042394/1412457657234624572
