Anyone got Espanso to run on Bazzite in Wayland or have a working alternative text expander?

Doesn't seem to have a working Wayland AppImage. Building manually doesn't seem to work for me either. Would really like to have a good text expander. Any suggestions?

manual compilation would need to be done inside of a distrobox

you could also try the deb package inside of an ubuntu distrobox before trying manual compilation

thanks! I've done the manual build without success but not in a distrobox. I'll give that and the debian package inside ubuntu distrobox a try

compiling requires pulling in all kinds of dependencies that clutter up ur host system and can conflict with eachother

in a container it's contained and then u can bring the app out of the distrobox later if u need it outside of it
