CanBoat/Visual analyzer guidance needed
Hi,
Installed the plugin at my boat and captured a file for analysis at home.
At the boat with live data I saw interpreted pgn:s and real data.
Did unfortunately not screenshot any details from a specific message. But the screenshot should give an idea.
The capture file was downloaded on a windows box from the boat "server" beeing a RPi.
Back home I installed the analyzer stand alone on a windows box.
When reading the captured file i get no interpretation just unknown pgns etc..see second screenshot
Where did I go wrong, can someone help with a few lines of guidance.
I'm trying to capture traffic between autopilot keypad Triton2 and a Simrad/Navico autopilot NAC-3, with the goal to aid in decipher that protocol.

The capured file
@Scott Bender Hey,
I have updated to the latest on my home environment, but the captured file is not "decoded".
Just Unknown PGN:s...
Do I need to make a new capture?
IF so that will not be until springtime, boat on the hard for the winter and instruments not operational....
Also as Canboat now states it has support for Simrad autopilots, maybe the this is not useful anymore 🙂

I have now reverse engineered the pgns for simrad autopilots, although control has only been tested on my NAC-3 as far as I know. signalk-autopilot now supports and I’ve been using it for a few weeks.
It does sound like there is a bug in visual-analyzer. I’ll take a look later today…
Thankyou that sounds great!!
I also have a NAC-3 so that will be rocking next season!!
No stress with analyzer on my account!!
