Missing Thumbnails, Loading Hang, and Failed Fetch Errors

I’m running Immich on a Raspberry Pi 4 (8GB) and I’m running into a couple of recurring issues that I can’t seem to resolve.

Setup:
  • Raspberry Pi 4 (8GB)
  • Images stored on Synology NAS, mounted via SMB (files are accessible), login only has reading access
  • No reverse proxy or external access — only used locally
  • Same issues occur across different devices and even in incognito mode

Problems:
  1. **Thumbnails not generating**
    • I often get xx failed messages when generating thumbnails.
    • Downloading photos works fine, so Immich does have access to the files.
    • Manually refreshing thumbnails for a specific photo doesn’t work either.
    • Using “Load missing thumbnails” also results in the same xx failed errors.
  2. **Immich sometimes stuck on logo**
    • Occasionally Immich hangs on the loading screen (rotating logo forever).
    • The only way to fix it is restarting the container.
  3. **Frequent fetch errors**
    • Example error: 
      Failed to fetch dynamically imported module: http://PRIVATEIP:2283/_app/immutable/nodes/19.X-TmAtSW.js (500)
