my uefi secure boot is enabled
but i can't enable tpm 2.0 and hvci
im using a lower end pc
win+r, msinfo32, send a photo

when i try accessing my motherboard configs all i get is black screen
Your BIOS?
yes
when you try to go to your bios or when you leave it?
or something else?
when im trying to go to it
what key are you pressing to get into the bios?
my pc dell so i tried spamming f2 when i was restarting but it didn't do anything
i tried on both a samsung monitor and asus monitor
try to use the delete key
this what happens when i try doing it manually
tried it didnt work it restarted but didnt give me black screen
Hm
this seems to be a question for dell
you could also try taking out the BIOS battery
damn
CMOS reset
Turn off your pc
Unplug all the cables
Open up your pc case
Remove the small battery on your motherboard
And wait 5-10 min before putting it back in
And plug all cables and try to enter bios
Soo simple :val_Heh:
can i just replace the batteyr with a new one
You sure can
didnt work
this is what happens when after trying to play val

ok i've fixed this issue but not the previous one
hi update i fixed the issue through chatgpt
stupidly my monitor was connected to my motherboard instead of my graphics card
so i connected it to my graphics card and i was able to get into bios and change my settings
:Omen_Clutch:
._.
hello friends, im messaging on behalf of my friend. he's unable to load val whatsoever. we've practically gone through every guide and requirement. he's copied my settings and still nothing. he says theres no setting for him to turn on secure boot (mine is off and i run val just fine). CSM is disabled already too

update: he was able to turn on secure boot but still got hit with this error

Change OS Type to windows UEFI
Then Open key management
And click on restore factory keys
Click yes
Then save and exit bios
He said he did that and thats how he was able to enable secure boot
So problem solved ? :val_SusgeNoted:
Nope. It still kicked him :( someone in a different server said possibly another game/application was hindering it
Could you show ss of what error he gets
@Rachel this is the same error he gets. Sometimes he’s able to open the game but it later on kicks him out and this pops up
Could you ask him to join here
Or just ask em to
Press windows key + r
Type msinfo32
Show ss
Will do! They’re not home atm but when they are I’ll have them join
@Rachel i had him join the server! not sure if you are still available
@Tolerable
dont think she is around
how can we help ?
@momo these were the problems :C
okay where is he ?
this photo from his bios ?

Yes but he said he was able to turn it off after changing them to factory keys
let me ping him again LOL
he just need to delete factory keys
then install default secure boot key
and it will work
@Tolerable
I’ll work on this on Tuesday
LOL
well you see the fix above
just clear secure boot keys and install default one and you will begood
Will do
