Download speed stuck at 0.5MB/s most of the time

Hi, I noticed that my download and disk speeds are almost always stuck at 0.5MB/s, with some spikes here and there that often even ecceed what speed my provider actually provides me (i.e. i have a 30Mbps connection, so roughly 2.5MBps download speed, and in those spikes it sometimes shows up to 15MBps). Is it normal? I'm on Arch and using the AUR build script for the stable version, but the same happens on all versions (git, bin), flatpak excluded since i don't use them.
