Valorant black screen upon launch in fullscreen and stuck on splash loading screen if in window

For context: I recently bought a new laptop and installed the Riot Client and then Valorant through that.
If I launch Valorant in fullscreen it shows a black screen and I have to press alt+enter to go into windowed mode for it to show any change. And then it would change into the splash screen and would take more than 7 mins to change to the main homescreen. This is way longer than it takes on my old laptop and I don't know if this is normal. Additionally if I tabbed out while this is happening I am unable to tab back (shown in video).
In sum, I tried to open valorant via the valorant shortcut and it remains on the splash screen for an extremely long time (in windowed mode). In Fullscreen mode it never moves onto the homescreen and only shows a black screen.

OS: Windows 11 Pro

Restart and try the game

Ok I have another problem, I can't use valorant in fullscreen
as soon as I change from windowed mode tof ullscreen it freezes
and forces it out of fullscreen
I can't find a solution on reddit, so my launching issue is ifxed but like this person's situtation I also can't go fullscreen

And use this to delete “NVIDIA” drivers
why delete nvidia drivers?

then download and install this
ok so i download the first link and then download the 2nd link?
Download both
Use first link (DDU) to delete the drivers
Open DDU
And select on the right side
GPU
NVIDIA
And click on clean and restart
After it deletes the drivers and your pc restarts, install the driver (2nd link)
got it
Also don’t update this^ it shows an older version here

i think that was what my driver showed before the update cus now it says 3.0.101.7026
