Account closure blocked
I've already reviewed the "Delete your Cloudflare account" docs, but unfortunately they are not allowing me to close the account for which my profile is the Super Administrator:
Whenever I try to click
Yes, leave account
under account member management, I get the error This account needs at least one super administrator. You will need to invite another super administrator before you can leave
But the account itself does not have any option to simply be deleted. I want to delete my profile and the account - how do I do this?7 Replies

The AI bot said that I just need to add another super administrator, but I don't want to do that because the entire company is shutting down
Any pointers?
You said you reviewed the Delete your Cloudflare account docs, they don't tell you to use the leave button though, they give different instructions on how to delete from under your profile: https://developers.cloudflare.com/fundamentals/user-profiles/delete-account/#delete-your-cloudflare-account

If your account uses Single-Sign On (SSO), your super administrator may need to delete your account on your behalf.
When you delete your profile, the account associated with your profile and any accounts where you are the last active member will also be deleted.
@Chaika thank you for your note - I've tried to delete the profile, but it never ends up going through. I presume this is because I am the super administrator for an account, so Cloudflare isn't letting me close the profile
I am the super administrator for an account, so Cloudflare isn't letting me close the profileNo you can def use that to delete, as it says, it'll just delete the account if you were the last active. If you're getting errors though, any plan can create an Account category support ticket ?support
To contact Cloudflare Support about an issue, please visit the Support Portal and fill in the form on the portal. After submission, you will receive confirmation over email.
Some issues, such as Account or Billing related issues, cannot be solved by the community.
Any plan level (including Free plans) can open tickets for Account, Billing or Registrar ticket categories. Make sure to select the correct category to ensure it goes to the right place.
