My investigator title doesn’t go away after 30 days of inactivity
I stopped reviewing videos for over a YEAR now and my name still pops up at the beginning of the game. I don’t want it displayed anymore and I don’t watch videos anymore

To change your title, tap on your profile photo while you're in the lobby. Then, select Custom and choose a title other than the investigator. Finally, tap the yellow Use button on the left side of your screen.

I haven't watched a video in more than a freaking YEAR
I know the title doesn't go away.
The in-game announcement is supposed to go away.
I don't see you have investigator title appear in public. So can you please take screenshot or record small video explaining your question better?

Dawg
the in-game announcement
at the beginning of the game
investigator lab is watching over the match @MZ Gaming
aha, when you start match?
that announcement is supposed to go away after 30 days of inactivity @MZ Gaming
Alright, we will back to you soon. Sorry for any inconvenience.
do u agree that this is a bug and its supposed to go away after 30d?
@MZ Gaming
Sorry to step in. We're investigating (inevitably) a little deeper. What rank of title does it show please? Does it show your highest level attained?
The green one. Corporal?
Don’t apologize when you’re helping fix a problem
To clear things up, yes it shows my highest rank.
I have the second rank, corporal. It’s the green colored rank.

“Investigation corporal Lab is watching over the match”
⬆️ this message is supposed to go away after 30 days of investigative inactivity. It has not gone away yet, and I’ve been inactive for over 180 days
I would like for it to go away, since I have been inactive
Understood. It's being looked into, but you may need to put up with it for the time being. I'll try to get you something more concrete.
Thank you for helping fix the problem. Please ping me in this channel whenever you have new information
Any update?
If there’s issues, then you can just remove everything regarding my investigator perks
I give you guys permission to remove my perks, including my in-game title
@HockeyRup
I've got no update for you at the moment. I'll try chasing.
I'm just a volunteer moderator, I can't personally change/remove anything within someone's account. I don't think this is going to be resolved quickly.
I have asked again, to try to get a clear response for you.
I understand
I’d appreciate if this would be taken care of because I had to deal with this for practically a year now
The bug existed for over 6 months at this point
It’s gotten so bad that it’s almost to a point to where I have to have a completely different name @HockeyRup @MZ Gaming
I've got a definitive answer, although not one which gives you a quick solution. Currently there's no way to disable this announcement and it will not expire even when the investigator account is frozen.
You'll need to make a feedback post and request a change to the feature.
Why does it say it goes away if it doesn’t
I don't know. An oversight perhaps. I'd put that in your feedback.
@HockeyRup at this point I just want it removed from my account
It’s super annoying and it’s not fair
And PUBG lied about how it works
I understand, but this is not something I am able to do. I have looked into the situation as far as I can, but now all you can do is make a feedback post.
