Dying Light: The Following - Enhanced Edition -- Config file is corrupted

In my GOG library, I have this version of the game: "Dying Light: The Following - Enhanced Edition". However, it seems that this specific version is no longer available on GOG and has been superseded by "Dying Light: Definitive Edition". There is no more store page for the old game. However, Heroic still shows this game in my library (which is correct as GOG still shows it too in my library), but clicking on it only gives me a loading screen. Right-clicking on the game in my library and clicking Install first gives the installation popup, but after continuing nothing happens. Looking in the Heroic log, there appears to be an issue with a corrupted config file. As the GOG log shows, the app name for this game is 1448452156, which indeed matches the errors in the Heroic log. The error says there is an issue parsing the JSON in the [...]/GamesConfig/1448452156.json file; I am not including this file here because I checked it and it is empty. Other JSON files in that folder are not empty, so I presume the issue stems from the fact that the correct JSON information on this game was not retrieved. I am using the Flatpak version of Heroic (2.18.1) on Linux (6.17.7). Other games in my library work fine. If you need any more information, I'll be happy to provide it.
