Facing Issue accessing one of my file.
It's a Video. I am able to stream it but am not able to either View Original or Edit It. :dispair:
Everytime I try to edit the file, it produces the following error - "failed to fetch original to edit".
This all started on 7 Sep, I initially thought it will fix itself up, but it's still there even after 2 weeks.

Video streaming is available in beta on mobile apps starting v0.9.98 and on desktop starting v1.7.13.
You can download the latest version of the Ente Photos desktop app from https://ente.io/download.

Can you try and see if downloading the file works? If so, does playing the file locally on your device work?
Not meaning it as a workaround, just mean to check if the device is able to play this format
I tried downloading the file, and it gave me following message.

I should probably mention
- I have two Ente Accounts as of now
- One current account aka Old account
- Second account aka New account where I'm trying to export all my data from old account to
- My Ente Subscription for my current (old) account has ended.
- I'm on 30-days grace period rn.
- Not that it should matter since I can export every other file without any issues.
- I have got Subscription for my new account where I am importing all this data to
- I am able to create an export for all my data through Windows desktop app, with both Sync continously turned on & off
- And it is able to export all the data except this one file which is stuck in Pending items

Going a bit off-topic I have a doubt about Export-Import
- I noticed, Ente export the files (photos & videos) intact with all it's metadata but also has it's own changes in a seperate Metadata folder
- So, When I will import (i'm importing as we speak) all my files, will the Ente changes be also included or will they get lost?

I also tried downloading it on desktop, with no success.

When I will import (i'm importing as we speak) all my files, will the Ente changes be also included or will they get lost? They'll be included. The app reads the same metadata files back. That is, Ente will read the JSON files either next to the file (e.g. when importing a Google Takeout) or within the metadata folder (as is in your case, when trying to read the data exported by a previous Ente instance). This all started on 7 Sep,Can you send your logs to support@ente.io, and also please mention in the email if you remember something causing this to stop work (e.g. it was working before for the same video but then something happened around 7th that caused the errors), that will help our engineers track the issue. (no need to repeat the entire issue, you can just cite this discord thread)
Hi, Just mailed the logs.

To answer your question,
I actually don't exactly know when this issue started.
I encountered it on 7 Sep for the first time, because this was the date, I started exporting all my files (via Desktop Windows app), and this file has been stuck in Pending Items ever since.
Perfect!
