Use save states from Windows.
Hi I recently installed heroic launcher, added some games that I have on my windows setup and they work fine but I can't use my save states. When I go to game settings I can't see the cloud game sync tab so I can't set the proper path to use. How can I solve this? Do I need to install the games from the store again to be able to sync the states?

Btw this entirely depends on if game supports cloud saves

No, for example I have the Witcher 3 installed from GOG on Windows. I didn't want to install again so I just added from the Windows location, it works but no cloud save sync. It also happens for final fantasy VII rebirth on Steam.

You did "click install, then choose import" right?
Which doesnt download anything but creates game entry properly with all gog functionality

I didn't, I just pressed the Add game button and set the path there. Now I tried the install -> import process and it downloaded a couple of the dave states, but now I see the cloud sync tab, I guess I can set the proper save folder path there. Thanks 👍.
Now, if I have other games, not from a store, the process is adding them as I did initially, right? In that case, for the save states I would need to copy them manually to the wine managed folder?

Yes.
Import feature works for stores that Heroic supports.
Epic,GOG and Amazon.
You would need to copy your save files to prefix.
