Server render distance is used instead of vanilla; Quality drop off too fast
So I have a problem. The chunks look like crap very close.
I am playing on a server. The render distance is set to 8 chunks there. However my vanilla render distance is 32. The distant horizons render distance is 256. However, the LODs start displaying after the server render distance - 8. I don't want that. I want og quality up till 32 chunks and then lower quality LODs. The quality preset is already set to extreme. So I want to ask, is it possible to use the vanilla render distance somehow for the original quality? Like set it to 32 instead of 8 chunks (which is the default on that server) of original quality.
Has anyone encountered that issue and managed to fix it?
