as stated in title, is there any performance difference on gnome and kde for handheld? which is better?

there is no difference in gaming mode it has nothing to do with KDE/gnome
you choose whichever you like
not sure, i want to download the installer on web, and there is choice for device (basically list of handheld), then the environment
