Massive memoryleak?

So, after a recent update it seems that Heoric has a rather hungry memory leak. Whenever I say hungry its eating 1.5-2gb of ram per minute just sitting here trying to update BG3. Any way I can help

No it is using more and more ram until OOM Even if I cancel the download its currently sitting at 38gb used ram Its caused a system freeze followed by being killed by OOM killer 10 times now taking all 63gb of ram available before this has happened And now Im even more confused cause it kept eating ram (currently running through terminal) and after a few more OOM crashes.... its stopped eating ram but also refuses to attempt to update anymore Oh, its entirely hosed my bg3 install so it cannot update it cause it thinks it no longer exist

Fire up activity monitor and screenshot memory usage. That will show what memory usage across the board is.

Yes I am on Arch and found the issue within there. I am wondering if this is some corner case because it had filled up my / drive with updates (all partial) and started to use swap and then somewhere got corrupted? Since I cleared out the failed GOG installs for BG3 and moved the game to another drive its not eating nearly as much ram and actually updating
