[discord feature req] Better alternative to AnswerOverflow
Hey team, I’m currently building Paladin. I noticed this forum is synced to the web with AnswerOverflow. Paladin makes forums cleaner, easier to browse, and simpler to moderate directly from the web.
It’s completely free to use and can either complement your existing setup or run on its own. If you want, you can try it yourself in a few minutes, or I can spin up a demo and show you how it works, no pressure either way 😀

hi! looks interesting. curious what your business model is? (as that probably determines the longevity and risk)
hey andy! for now, we just have a free tier and custom tier for those that want additional features like custom domains, support, etc. as we add more features, we intend to extend to a pro tier that fits somewhere in the middle with out-of-the-box features.
would you be interested in trying Paladin out?
possibly. if it's low effort to get going and I can keep AnswerOverflow running in parallel.
Our main requirement is discoverability. I want people to find answers to things via Google or whatever they are using a few years down the road. It pains me that all the good content here is locked up in a walled garden. So as long as you're increasing our chance of being scraped/spidered/found then I'm interested.
that totally makes sense. i think it makes sense to have both going in parallel since that optimizes for discoverability, longevity, and growing your community. setup should only take a few minutes and there should be little to zero maintenance to keep it running once set up.
feel free to create a community here, then navigate to settings > discord to set up the discord bot integration. once that is completed, make sure to enable the forum channels you want indexed.
please let me know if you run into any blockers -- happy to help out!
in terms of SEO, note that it may take a few days for things to be working on google due to google's crawlers
