Fallout 3 (GOG/GOTY) on Steam Deck no Play option
Hello, here.
Pretty new to Heroic, but I managed to install it on my Steam Deck and sync'ed my GOG library. I installed Fallout 3 and was able to get in the game from Heroic Launcher (Launch option: fallout 3), however after launching, in the game there was only INSTALL and EXIT options. I tried clicking INSTALL but it said something like "Fallout 3 does not appear installed and there is no installer.". It seems that the Proton version is the latest. Trying searching online and here but didn't seem to find anything.

Also, how do I change install language? In GOG there is a language drop-down option, but I didn't find one when installing from Heroic launcher.

how did you install the game? it should show up the language selector during installation

Oh you are right. I deleted everything and started over and now I see there is a language drop-down exactly like GOG Galaxy. Not sure if I just missed it before. And now I can play the game too. Although I can get in the game and I see all the options (Continue, New, Load etc. but no button works except for the D-Pad). Even the Steam button doesn't work.
Edited: I played around with different Proton and finally the game worked. WOW
