Does this charcoal suit suit me well?

Much better quality photos this time. I’m gonna get the trousers shortened. A rating and tips would be delightful

Hi @RebL! For better answers, include: - Reference pictures - Budget in numbers - Specific measurements - Openness to buying secondhand and/or online - Location: country/continent is fine - Timing/urgency

The jacket looks a little too tight. It is pulling at the button. Depending on how much extra fabric there it should be adjustable. You’re also making the tie too short. if you look at some like shrimpmyride who wears lots of ties they always hit at the belt ie (https://discord.com/channels/1116793467654381685/1116800072093532191/1422454584114282577) you probably don’t need a new tie just tie it differently.

need a different sized or less slim fit jacket/suit also a weird question but are you able to pull up the pants on your waist? the rise seems low and the extra fabric at the bottom may be a sign they need to sit higher

from my experience, if a suit is not required then no suit > badly fitted suit if it is, then you've gotta thug it out, wear it open, wear the tie longer and save up for a better suit

If it’s just for occasional social events I’d just wear it open.
