Have no idea how to style this flannel/overshirt...
Hey guys I've picked up this flannel/overshirt because I thought it looked really nice, but the issue is that I'm unsure how to make it work? It was a pretty impulsive purchase and I'm kinda regretting it. I wanted to wear it casually like I am doing in the photo with shorts, but I'm not sure if it works or not. If anyone has some styling tips I would appreciate it.
I've tried wearing it with Khaki pants but I don't like the look. It's not my style. What colors can generally work with this?

I'm kinda a beginner to fashion in general, so if I could get some general advice that would be great
I do know that lighter colors don't generally suit my skin tone and hair as good
But yeah It's just overwhelming
I'm 5'11 and athletic build
height build and skin tone dont matter even a little bit buddy dw about it.
This looks good as is, and respectfully this is a ridiculously easy item to wear. Throw it on like this, wear it with jeans, fatigues, shorts, chinos, whatever. It's good.

yeah thats a part of it sure. ig im saying dont put too much stock in the opinion of someone else so quick if u dont really fw how they do it.
