Note for OP
+solved @user1 @user2... to close the thread when your doubt is solved. Mention the users who helped you solve the doubt. This will be added to their stats.Just substitute (a+b-x) at the place of x. That is -pie + pie - x = -x. a^x term will come in numerator. Then just add original Integral and this one... The 1 + a^x will be gone
