we dropped linux support cuz it was .001% of users and not worth the effort.
my guess is that the autoupdate breaks when it finds the app image doesnβt exist in the latest release.
Could try running it without internet to see if it skips the auto update. to confirm the issue.

First version isnβt available, correct. Iβm planning a switch to NixOS, i can prob test and build the newest version for Linux then.

ok, but there is little chance that a program for nix will work for other distributions
I donβt dev nor build on the host OS, so itβs a non issue. Iβd catch portability issues in the prerelease. The appimage should be rather self contained tho
