how should I clean my pre-owned barbour jacket
i bought this preowned barbour jacket off grailed 9 months ago and now that it's getting to rain more i am feeling the urgency of getting this cleaned to wear
i know that the general wisdom is to spot clean and use towels to wipe old wax and grime off but im wondering if there's anything i should do about it when it's significantly more dirty. or if there are places i can go to get this cleaned and rewaxed as a service

Hi @jupar! For better answers, include:
- Reference pictures
- Budget in numbers
- Specific measurements
- Openness to buying secondhand and/or online
- Location: country/continent is fine
- Timing/urgency
Yeah there are places that do that but obv I can’t recommend any because I don’t know what country you’re in
yes sorry shouldve included that but i'm located in northern california
Alright. For light wear and tear and rewaxing you can get Barbours repair service involved. They don’t do bigger jobs usually and they cost a pretty penny.
For bigger jobs I’ve heard good things about this guy https://rawrepair.nyc/?utm_campaign=gmb on the web. It’ll likely also be quite expensive.
Personally I recommend just rewaxing yourself following a guide https://www.outdoorandcountry.co.uk/blog/how-to-re-wax-your-barbour-wax-jacket/?srsltid=AfmBOophDyorDTIWq7vZOACm1-ewnwf_PTrf2hh7bPehfKwf7-8za02R - it’s not world endingly difficult.
