unable to use custom user avatar

hey there , first time linux user, just installed today, followed every steps needed to be able to install my apps & games from windows. while it is great, i have a small problem, it's that custom user avatars does not work at all. it just shows blank any workarounds for this? thank you very much i am using bazzite-gnome-stable-amd64 / gnome 48.4
